Flagship project

Serra do Brigadeiro

Rare Earth and Gold exploration in southeastern Minas Gerais - Araponga, Fervedouro, Ervalia, Jequeri and surrounding areas.

Sozo Terra Insights flagship project is located in the Serra do Brigadeiro region, covering areas in the municipalities of Araponga, Fervedouro, Ervalia, Jequeri and surroundings, in southeastern Minas Gerais.

The company holds 15 mining rights totaling 27,030 hectares. Current exploration focuses on three priority mining claims (832.383/2024, 832.384/2024 and 832.386/2024), aiming at Rare Earth resource certification, with gold as a secondary mineral.

- Priority Targets

832.383/2024

North Target

Focus on lateritic profiles enriched in light Rare Earths.

832.384/2024

Central Target

Saprolite exploration over mineralized host rock.

832.386/2024

South Target

Gold investigation as a by-product through stream sediments.

- Regional Geological Context

The Serra do Brigadeiro region lies within the structural context of the Andrelandia Group, marked by metamorphic rocks and structures favorable to Rare Earth and gold concentration. Regional studies indicate the presence of laterites, saprolites and host rocks with mineralization potential, associated with magmatic and metasomatic events.

Sozo's work integrates geological mapping, petrographic studies, geochemical analyses and compilation of historical data, always focused on building a coherent and testable geological model.

- Next Work Stages

  1. 1

Preparation of detailed topographic mapping for priority claims west of Serra do Brigadeiro State Park.

  2. 2

Planning of the sampling campaign in claims east of the Park, with defined grid and target prioritization.

  3. 3

Collection of approximately 600 laterite, saprolite and rock samples for Rare Earth analyses.

  4. 4

Collection of around 180 stream sediment samples for gold analysis.

  5. 5

Gold grain counting in 40 stream sediment samples.

  6. 6

ICP chemical analyses of 70 selected samples for detailed Rare Earth quantification.

  7. 7

Generation of sampled-point maps and isother maps for key elements.

  8. 8

Microscopic petrography studies of Rare Earth host rock.
